If you told me 5 years ago that I would be doing what I am now, I really wouldn’t have believed you. I was a little hipster/hippy who was brand spankin’ new to Boone and going to concerts every weekend. I wasn’t interested in traveling or photography in the slightest.
Photography kinda unexpectedly landed in my lap. It was the kind of surprise you never see coming in a million years, but I’m so grateful it did. I’ve experienced through so many life changing moments as a photographer, and a few things I’ve learned is that…
- A campfire is the best place to spend quality time with people
- People are generally good and willing to help (and happy to do it!)
Connecting with people I’ve never met and learning new things through their experiences is eye-opening, inspiring, and refreshing
I wouldn’t have felt any of these wonderful, inspiring, and humbling experiences without photography.
I cannot say enough how thankful I am that I get to do this every single day.
