There’s not a thing about this wedding that I don’t love (and not just because it’s at Nantahala Weddings and Events).
We started the day off at Blush where all of the bridesmaids and the bride got their hair and makeup done. They had a wonderful little studio in the back of their boutique shop and we all got to sip on mimosas, jam out to some music, and get glammed up (not me obviously). Veronika’s daughter-in-law was over the moon in LOVE with her flower girl dress and she kept spinning throughout the store to show off how a little. She was literally the cutest thing..
After everyone was ready, we packed into the cars and went off towards Wayah Bald for wedding party and family photos. Nantahala weddings and events recommends this beautiful spot to everyone and I am SO glad that they did!! Even though we couldn’t see the mountains through the fog when we arrived, I had a really good feeling the clouds would lift long enough for a handful of photos- and they did. The entire wedding party and families scrambled into position long enough for me to grab a few shots, and I think that was the quickest I’ve ever coordinated a large group of people..
The weather throughout the day was touch and go. Rain sprinkled randomly throughout the day, as is often in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and Nantahala weddings and events already had their backup ceremony location ready to go for us. They were so on top of planning Veronika and Seth’s wedding!
And lucky for us, the skies parted for us yet again so we could grab some couples photos at the mountaintop overlook at Nantahala Weddings and Events. Of course, while we were taking photos their dog was the center of attention (and for good reason).
